ORLANDO, Fla (June 14, 2017) - AAU National Staff visited Starwood Academy to host an AAU Proud event. The purpose of the AAU Proud program is to provide athletic activities & sport skills to children in a non-competitive environment that promotes self-confidence while staying active. Approximately forty-five (45) students, ages 5 to 11 participated in a variety of activities created to emphasize coordination, dexterity and team work. These activities included dribbling around cones with your feet, passing the ball on a basketball court and hulu hooping. Starwood Academy leadership, parents and students appreciated AAU's participation in their field day event. Interested learning more about AAU Proud? Email jegura@roadrunner.com
