Wow 5 years running in Texas and another successful Unrestricted National Championship is in the books! Teams descended on San Antonio and Somerset, TX from Arkansas, Colorado and all parts of Texas. The Championship games were contested on December 19th and 20th.
In the 10U match up, the Houston Texas Heat were crowned National Champions after tough first half defeated the Arkansas Lions 19-0. The 12U National Championship game again featured the Houston Texas Heat program, but they did not come out on the winning end of this game either.
The San Antonio Panthers won the 12U National Championship game with a score of 20-0.
The final game of the day, the 14U National Championship once again featured the Houston Texas Heat program. However, after a close fought game against the Houston Texas Cougars, this one would need over time to crown the Champion. The Heat get the win 6-0.
Congratulations to all the teams in attendance at the event from Arkansas, Colorado, EL Paso TX, Corpus Christi TX, Flour Bluff TX and San Antonio TX.
We hope to see you all at the 2016 Unrestricted National Championship next year!
