Thank you for playing AAU Basketball and registering for the Easter Classic! 

There are over 280 teams participating in this event, with that said some of you have asked for special schedule requests, we have tried to accommodate the majority, some were left out and we do apologize.  Here are some items teams should know:

  • This is our first event using our new schedule/results software Tourney Text.  This is a great software that we are excited to be using to help bring the schedule and results to our teams faster than ever before.  Please review and share the attached document to see how to follow teams through your mobile devices.  More detailed instructions are available through the link to the schedule.

  • All bids earned in this event are conditional – you must compete in your District Championship to validate this bid.

 

  • Passes for the Easter Classic are $17.00 for an adults and $12.00 for children Ages 3-9.  Length of Event passes can be purchased for $34.00 for adults and $24.00 for children 3-9.  These passes can be purchased at the ESPN Wide World of Sports ticket window or at all Off-Site venues.

  • Registration will be COACHES ONLY, and be held in a Registration Tent at ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex next to the Globe beginning Thursday, April 2nd from 5:00 pm – 9:00 pm. Registration will be open on Friday, April 3rd beginning at 10:00 am also in the Registration Tent.  Please register at least 2 hours prior to your first scheduled game time.

 

  • IMPORTANT: ALL Coaches MUST be present at Registration with a government issued Photo ID to receive a credential.  If a Coach cannot make registration they will not be issued a credential until they present a Photo ID to an AAU Representative ONLY at ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex.

 

  • This is a big event and yes we will be using facilities other than ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex.  Please print the driving directions and begin to map out where you play.  GIVE YOURSELF TIME TO TRAVEL!   GAMETIME IS GAMETIME! IF YOU’RE LATE, WE WON’T WAIT. NO EXCEPTIONS.

 

  • Please be aware that on Thursday April 2nd at 6:05 pm and Saturday April 4th at 3:05 pm, the Atlanta Braves have a Spring Training Baseball game at the ESPN Wide World of Sports.  This could cause traffic congestion due to crowds, so please allow ample time for your team to park and get to your game.  REMEMBER GAME TIME IS GAME TIME.  

 

  • The Easter Classic has a relaxed Coaches dress code.  Please see the attached document handout for acceptable attire for ALL non-athlete bench personnel.

 

  • Please remember to complete your online roster by Tuesday March 31, 2015 if you have not already done so.
