Two teenage AAU Strength Sports athletes had the opportunity to attend the US Bobsled & Skeleton Federation G-Force driving school in Park City, Utah, March 3 – 8. The school is conducted twice a year at Utah Olympic Park, site of the 2002 Salt Lake City Winter Olympic Games, to provide driving basics to athletes of all ages in the Olympic sliding sports of bobsled and skeleton.

Sandy, Utah’s South Town Expo will be the home to the “All Under One Roof” Big Mountain Jam, June 26-28, 2014. If you are looking for a tournament for boys and girls of all age divisions, this one is for you!

March 6-9th 2014, ice hockey teams from eleven states converged on Minneapolis, Minnesota for the AAU National Ice Hockey Championships for the mite and squirt divisions. Congratulations to all of the newly crowned AAU National Champions!

Former major-leaguer Chet Lemon, whose AAU “Juice” teams in Florida prepared Brad Miller for life in the majors, calls the Mariners’ shortstop the perfect baseball pupil.

Stand-out athlete 9 year old Noah Powell was just like all of the other kids on the ice at the 2014 AAU National Ice Hockey Championships. He traveled with his family and team, the Illinois Jesters, to Minnesota to compete in the hopes of winning a national title, scoring goals, and overall dominating on the ice. Noah however, is NOT just an ordinary hockey player. Noah has mild to moderate bilateral hearing loss.

Last weekend, AAU Hockey hosted the Inaugural AAU Mite/Squirt National Championship in Minneapolis, MN.

AAU Boys Basketball West Coast Division III Nationals are headed to Folsom, California this summer.
