The 50th AAU Junior Olympic Games are under way

HOUSTON, Texas (July 30th) - The 50th AAU Junior Olympic Games are under way in Houston, Texas now through August 6th. Click here for press release.

More than 15,000 athletes and coaches will be competing for the gold medal over 12 days in this premier AAU event.

Jump Rope, T&T, Football, Swimming, Multi-Events, Taekwondo, Sport Stacking, Table Tennis and Powerlifting are under way now.  

Track & Field, largest sport in the event with more than 10,500 competitors, starts Monday August 1st. 

OPENING CEREMONIES: The Celebration of Athletes will be held on Sunday, July 31st at 7:30pm at the M.O Campbell Center [click for more info]  featuring AAU alum and nine-time U.S. Olympic gold medalist Carl Lewis. You do NOT want to miss this! ‪
