The 2015 AAU Junior Olympic Games has invaded Virginia! Competition kicked off today (July 30) with Trampoline and Tumbling, which will be joined by 20 other sports in the nine day event. Thousands of athletes from all over the nation will travel to Norfolk, Chespeake, Hampton, Newport News and Virginia Beach!
Sports that are included in the AAU Junior Olympic Games include, but are not limited to, Track & Field, Baton Twirling, Jump Rope, Sport Stacking, Wrestling and much more!
This year, the track events will be streamed LIVE on aautv.org for FREE! Simply visit the website and follow the directions to watch.
The Celebration of Athletes will take place at Dick Price Stadium at Norfolk University on Monday, August 3rd at 7pm! We will not have a Parade of Athletes this year, however we will have sport demos, guest speakers, giveaways and the 100m dash competition, plus much more!
