AAU ATHLETICS
The AAU Athletics program offers opportunities for athletes of all ages, in all skill levels to compete in Cross Country, Indoor Track & Field, and Outdoor Track & Field. Events are held throughout the country, including district championships, regional qualifiers, and National Championships. a

The AAU Athletics program provides an avenue of competition for many ages as well as both genders. For more specific details on age divisions please visit the website www.aauathletics.org.
Track & Field Only**
The athlete's year of birth shall determine the age division in which he/she will compete:
8 & Under 2007 & after (Track & Field only) 9 years old 2006 10 years old 2005 11 years old 2004 12 years old 2003 13 years old 2002 14 years old 2001 15-16 years old 1999 – 2000 17-18 yeasr old* 1997 – 1998
*Athletes who are still eighteen (18) years of age through the final day of the National Track & Field Meet shall be eligible to compete in the 17-18 year olds division. **For Cross Country Age Divisions, refer to the AAU Athletics handbook.
