On April 12th and 13th, the Basketball Development Group and the South Jersey Jazz Basketball Club will be hosting the 3rd Annual Hoopster’s Tip-Off Tournament. This event will take place in Sewell, New Jersey at the South Jersey Sports-Choice Sports Arena. Boys’ teams from the 4th trhough 11th grades are welcome to participate in this two day tournament.
The entry fee is $325 per team or $325 for those organizations that register two or more teams. The deadline to enter is Monday, April 7th and a paid entry fee guarantees each team a three game minimum. All games will be played on a wooden floor with stop clocks in a championship format. First and second place teams will be awarded trophies and those teams’ players will receive individual medals as well.

The second tournament in the spree of New Jersey Jazz tournaments is the Four Game Slam Jam tournament. This event will take place in Thorofare, New Jersey on May 17th and 18th for boys’ basketball teams from the 6th through the 11th grade only.
The entry fee is $395 per team and as the title suggests, it will include four games in a championship format. All games will be played on wooden floors with stop clocks. The deadline to enter is Monday, May 12th and there is limited space per age group, so register now! First place winners will receive player medals and a coach’s trophy.
The Basketball Development Group and the South Jersey Jazz Boys AAU present the 11th Annual Rock the Rim tournament on May 31st and June 1st. This event will take place at Competitive Edge Sports in King of Prussia Pennsylvania and in upper Marion area schools.
This event will be for boys’ teams only, from the 4th through 11th grades. The entry fee will be $395 per team or $370 per team for those organizations that register 2 or more teams. All registered teams will be guaranteed a three game minimum. The deadline to register will be Monday, May 26th.
This tournament will feature a championship format with a stop clock and wood floors. Trophies will be awarded to the first and second place teams and the first place teams will also receive individual awards.

The next event on the South Jersey Jazz Boys’ list is the Four Game Tri-State Tournament. This tournament will be on June 7th and 8th at the Riverwinds Community Center in Thorofare, New Jersey. Boys’ teams from the 6th-11th grade are welcome to participate for an entry fee of $395 per team. This entry fee will allow you to play in four games. The deadline to register is Sunday, June 1st, but there is limited space per age group so reserve your spot soon! This tournament will feature a championship format with all games played on wooden floors and shot clock.
Last but certainly not least, the Basketball Development Group and the South Jersey Jazz Basketball Club will present another long standing tournament in June, the 14th Annual Wildwood Battle on the Boardwalk Tournament and 3 Ball Shootout. This event will take place in Wildwood, New Jersey and Cape May County on June 21st and 22nd.
This event will be for boys’ teams from the 4th through 11th grade. The entry fee per team is $425 each or $400 per team for those organizations that register two or more teams in this tournament. There is a three game minimum with a championship format at this event and all games will have a stop clock. The registration and payment deadline is Friday, June 13th. First and second place teams will receive trophies and players from the first place teams will also get individual awards.
