Bowling Joel Ferrell 2013 Award Winner
The AAU Bowling Committee is pleased to announce that William R. Harris of Team Limitless, a 19 year old from Oak Park, MI as the 2013 Joel Ferrell Outstanding Performance Memorial Award winner. The Joel Ferrell Award is presented each year to an athlete who demonstrates outstanding athletic accomplishments and sportsmanship.
William was voted for by his peers who participated in the 2013 AAU Junior Olympic Games; he was chosen by his peers based on his sportsmanship during the tournament. He attends Oakland Community College as a sophomore and is a member of the Team Limitless in Michigan.
Doug Sewesky, General Manager of Super Bowl Lanes, presented the Joel Ferrell award to William on Tuesday, July 20, 2013. The AAU Bowling Committee is happy to have William join the long list of outstanding athletes previously awarded with the Joel Ferrell Award. Congratulations and best of luck to William and his bright future! We thank William R. Harris and Team Limitless for participating in this year’s AAU Junior Olympic Games.
